The beginning of my adventure. December 31st 2019 It was a sunny cold day, my bags were packed and I was on my way to summer in Argentina. My plan: Three weeks on a ranch near Buenos Aires, four weeks in Buenos Aires and six weeks on a ranch in Alta Gracia, near Cordoba. Why the ranching aspect you may be wondering. I have a love/fear relationship with horses. I love them, fall off them and was, at twenty-one, badly bitten by one and now am somewhat afraid of them. Seeing that I paint horses and find so much joy in them I decided it was time to overcome my fears. Spoiler alert: The three months did not go as planned...not even the first day.
